CHRIS CARPENTER, PGA
Chris Carpenter is the Director and Lead Coach of the Junior Select Program. Chris is a recognized leader in junior golf and one of the 12 founding professionals on Callaway Golf's National Junior Golf Advisory Staff.
Chris holds the following accreditations and awards: Certified US Kids Coach, Certified TPI Level II Junior Coach, Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coach, New England Professional of the Year, 6-Time PGA Junior Golf Leader.
Dr. Adam Naylor, Ed.D., CC-AASP - Player Development Consultant
Dr. Naylor leads Telos Sport Psychology Coaching, is on the faculty of AJGA “U”, directs Northeastern University's Sport Performance: Mental Game division, and is a clinical assistant professor at Boston University. He brings 15+ years of applied sport psychology experience (Olympic, professional, collegiate, and elite junior) to golfers. Of note, his clients include - US Open competitors, Stanley Cup champions, Olympic/International medalists, NCAA champions, and UFC martial artists.
He is the Northeast’s leading golf psychology consultant having counseled competitors to state championships, though play in major collegiate conferences (e.g. ACC, MAC, SSC, MAAC, Patriot League), and onto professional golf careers. He is the author of A Quick 9 for the Mind: Reflections from Public Links to the US Open and a contributor to the Titlest Performance Institute.
Dr. Naylor obtained his doctoral and master degrees in counseling psychology and developmental studies (specializing in sport psychology) at Boston University. He earned his bachelors degree in psychology, minoring in human movement studies, from Trinity College (CT). He is an Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) Certified Consultant. McKenzie Wells, LPGA Teaching Professional
McKenzie Wells is an LPGA Teaching Professional, LPGA - USGA Girls Golf site administrator, and US Kids Certified Coach that has been in the Boston area for over 4 years with her husband and two young children.
She started playing the game of golf at the age of 6 and was determined to make golf her career. McKenzie was the Colorado High School State Champion in 1998 and earned a Golf Scholarship to Texas A&M University. After College McKenzie played on the Futures Tour from 2003-2004.
McKenzie loves to teach and mentor those that are interested in learning the game in a non-intimidating environment as well as those that are trying to advance their current skill level. She currently teaches group lessons, individual lessons, Women, Men, and Juniors at Nashawtuc Country Club and The Practice Grounds.
